Atmospheric pub setting, Inviting outdoor spaces, Engaging staff
Need stronger soundproofing to block out bar noise!!! Shared bathroom arrangements could use more privacy!!! Room temperature control definitely requires some attention!!!

I was ready to write a glowing review, truly! the service at The Punch Bowl was nothing short of abysmal, and the noise from the pub below absolutely ruined my experience. arriving to a room where the beds were incorrectly set up? Just pathetic. I woudl ve been thrilled with a complimentary drink to soothe my frustrations, but apparently that’s too much to ask.

Had a fun getaway with friends! Close to both Beamish and local attractions. The staff were super friendly and the meal at the restaurant was surprisingly good value. The vibes were great, and we even got to enjoy some live music during our stay. Definitely recommend it!
The radiator in our room was quite noisy throughout the night, which made it hard to sleep. Just something to keep in mind if you're a light sleeper.
